Tim Timmons is a business executive and an award-winning author. But his first love and his heart still belong to newspapers
He began his career in newspapers in the 1970s as a high school correspondent for the Indianapolis News and Star. He is now the chief executive officer for Sagamore News Media – a small company with five properties, The Noblesville Times, The Paper of Montgomery County, the Sheridan News, The Weekly of West-Central Indiana and Hamilton County Sports Daily.
Timmons’ first book (Coaching Success – Creating Champions for the Business World, Bristol Publishing) was released in 2004. It was re-released again in 2016.
His writing has consistently won state and national awards, including from The Associated Press and various state newspaper organizations.
