Lisa Hurm is currently the Vice President and General Manager of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. She began her career as a graphic artist while still attending college. She worked for Gannett Newspapers for nine years and traveled to several newspaper sites implementing new technologies. She joined the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in 1998 and worked her way up through the operations side of the business while managing production, distribution, transportation, facility operations, and IT. As Director of Operations, she led a two year project to build a new production facility and relocate the Post-Gazette editorial department to a new building. Shortly after successfully completing the project, she was promoted to the position of Vice President and General Manager. She is a proud, lifelong resident of Pittsburgh and lives in Mt. Lebanon, PA with her husband and three daughters.
