HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 12 – The America East Media Business and Technology Conference, administered by the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association, is pleased to announce new networking opportunities in the exhibit hall during the April 10-12, 2017 event in Hershey, Pa.
The 2017 exhibit hall -- will feature speed networking and guided exhibit hall tours. These additions allow attendees to not only learn about products and services offered to newspaper organizations, but also have meaningful interactions with the appropriate vendors for their needs. The guided tours and speed networking will align exhibitors and attendees based on the following categories: advertising, circulation, editorial, production, and sales & marketing. Exhibitors pre-identify the products and service categories they fulfill while attendees pre-identify the types of products/services they are interested in learning more about. America East handles the rest and completes the “matchmaking” process.
“We believe that these new networking opportunities will provide our vendor partners with additional exposure and valuable one-on-one time with attendees and prospects. It also helps conference attendees take the guesswork out of planning exhibitor visits on the show floor. We see it as a win-win situation,” said Mary Firestone, Convention Sales Manager.
Speed networking is slated for Tuesday, April 11 and guided exhibit hall tours will take place on both Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11.
